Air conditioning

All the properties have air conditioning in the living rooms and bedrooms (with the exception of the third bedroom in the Skydeck Penthouse).

Arrival & check-in


A representative from our agency will meet you at your accommodation. Please advise them of your precise arrival details before leaving home. Their contact details will be provided in ample time prior to your departure.

 
Barbecue

All the properties have a gas barbecue for outdoor use. In addition, both penthouses have a communal barbecue area. Use of these is subject to the buildings' house rules.

Bed linen & towels

Beds are made up with fresh linen and clean towels are provided in the bathroom and for the pool.

 

Cancellation

8 weeks or more before the arrival date, a booking can be cancelled with no penalty. Between 4 and 8 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the rental fee is payable on cancellation. If the booking is cancelled 4 weeks or less before arrival, the full rental fee is due.

Charges

No hidden additional charges: Some holiday accommodation providers entice people with extremely low prices, but then add extra charges for towels, bed linen etc. With us, you know that the accommodation price shown already includes all essential services and amenities. All rates include daily cleaning (except Sundays and public holidays), cleaning on departure, Internet (WLAN), bed linen, towels, electricity, water, heating, and air conditioning.

Check-in

Check-in is from 14:00 onwards on the day of arrival.

Check-out

Guests are required to check out by 10.00 a.m on the day of departure.

Cleaning (housekeeping)

All the properties are cleaned every day except Sundays and public holidays. Bed linen and towels are changed regularly. This depends on the length of stay.

Cot & high chair

A cot and high chair can be provided, on request, subject to availability.

End-of-stay cleaning

Your accommodation will be cleaned at the end of the stay. The cost of this is included in the accommodation price. 

Extra beds

Both penthouses can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests and the roof top town house a maximum of 4. Additional beds cannot be provided.

Heating

The air conditioning units in all the properties can be used for heating in winter.

Internet (WLAN)

All the properties have high-speed Internet (WLAN). Its use is included in the accommodation price.

Laundry

The Panoramic Penthouse and the Rooftop Townhouse have a washer-dryer and The Skydeck Penthouse has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The use of these is free of charge.

 

Minimum length of stay

The minimum stay is usually 3 nights. Guests may arrive and depart on any day of the week.

Parking

Both penthouses have reserved, secure parking in private underground garages with direct access to lifts. The townhouse is located in a neighbourhood which has residents' parking permits and these will be provided on arrival.

Payment

At the time of booking, 25% of the rental amount must be paid by bank transfer. The balance of the rental must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival.

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. This will be checked on arrival.

Pool

The splash pools in all the properties can be used all year round although they are not heated. Pool towels are provided. The use of the communal pools in the two penthouses is subject to the buildings' house rules.

Power outage (load-shedding)

South Africa experiences regular power outages (known locally as load-shedding). Both penthouses are equipped with an inverter. When the electricity goes off, the inverter kicks in and powers the lights in the apartment, the internet and some appliances. However, areas outside of the apartment such as the lifts might not be functional during load-shedding. The townhouse is not affected by load shedding.

Security

Access to both the penthouses' apartment buildings is controlled by a 24-hour on-site security service located in the foyer. Each block is also protected by full perimeter electric fencing and video surveillance monitoring. The townhouse has an alarm system. The street in front of the townhouse is also monitored around the clock by a security service. Sea Point and De Waterkant are generally considered safe neighbourhoods by Cape Town standards.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the properties or outside on the terraces or balconies. Any violation of this rule will incur a fine of € 250.

Travel insurance

To ensure that you are covered for any financial losses incurred in the event of cancellation, for example, due to illness, accident or unemployment, we recommend taking out travel insurance.
